When I first heard the word Exfolimate, I really had no idea what kind of product to expect.  I figured the obvious – it plans to exfoliate, but other than that I didn’t know what it would be.  Is it a creme?  Is it a tool?  Is it a scrub?  Because I was so unsure, I thought I’d start this post by sharing a video about the product from the company’s website!

 

So as you can tell, it’s a beauty tool that you run on your skin (body and face) while your skin is damp to remove dead skin cells.  It looks like it’s dangerous, but I am a clumsy person and I had no issues with this product.  I don’t believe it is sharp enough to have to worry about hurting yourself!

After soaking in a nice, warm bath of water for awhile, I decided to use the tool!  The package comes with two of the Exfolimates – one for the face (smaller in size) and one for the body (bigger to cover more surface area at once).  When rubbing it over my body, I did notice in several places that it removed quite a bid of dead skin cells – particularly noticeable on the T-zone of my face!  I also used the body one on the rougher areas of my feet and it worked fantastic at removing the rough, trouble skin (which I have a lot of issues with due to wearing flip flops all the time!).

How do you use this product?

1. Make sure skin is wet – best to use at the end of your bath or shower.
2. With gentle pressure, slide against skin at a 90 degree angle.
3. Check the metal edge for residue from your skin.  Run under warm water to remove this residue.
4. Hang the tool to dry (comes with a cord to hang it up with!).

The Verdict:  Recommend!  Definitely could see the results on the metal edge of all the residue that was being removed from my body/face!
