I don’t have a long history with essential oils, but I do believe certain smells can impact our mood causing increases in happiness and/or relaxation.  When I had a chance to try a couple of essential oils (InstaNatural Lavender Essential Oil and Peppermint Essential Oil), I was happy to give them a shot!

InstaNatural Lavender Essential Oil

When I’ve received essential oil in the past, it usually came in an extremely small bottle – this is one reason I was incredibly impressed immediately upon receiving, these are easily 5 times (or more) the size of most essential oil bottles! If you are someone who uses essential oils on a frequent basis, you are going to want to go with these over other brands. To be honest, I think the smell is stronger than I’d be able to use on it’s own (after all, this has not been diluted), but once I added it into some non-scented lotion I had on hand, it was the perfect amount of fragrance to provide the needed benefits. As I said about the other bottle, the size and amount of product you receive was immediately impressive.  I’m not a huge fan of peppermint smells (actually, they can make me queasy sometimes), so I actually gave this bottle to my mother because she has high levels of stress that often lead to migraines. After the first time using it, she called me to tell me how great she was feeling! Although she said that it did not cure her migraine, she reported that it felt “soothing” and helped her relax.
