When I say my husband snores, I mean MY HUSBAND SNORES.  I remember the first night we slept in the same bed – we all have ideas of how this extremely romantic event will be with a new love in our life.  How was my experience?  More fearful than romantic.  As I doze deep into sleep, I was awoken by what I thought was a train coming in my direction!  Once I almost jumped out of the bed and came back to consciousness, I realized I had finally found a flaw in the new love of my life.  SNORING.  LOUDLY and OFTEN.

Since this occurred many years ago, I’ve gotten used to the snoring.  It rarely wakes me up at all anymore and, if it does, I know I can wake him up and tell him to roll onto his side (I think every woman with a husband that snores will understand this situation!).  But…why suffer if we don’t have to?
