As you guys know, I like to occasionally feature something non-beauty related and this time, I decided to do a book review.  This is actually my first book review, so bare with me on this. 🙂

Are you looking for an easy read that is a suspense, drama, mystery, romance, and thriller all in one?  This may be the book that you are looking for!  I love to read, but the problem is…I don’t really have a lot of time to read.  Unfortunately, most of my life is extremely busy, but I decided to make time for this read and I’m not disappointed that I did!

Meet Vera.  She’s a strong female character trying to find the truth about her family…and the truth about love at the same time.  She’s never been truly in love before and isn’t even looking, but sometimes when you aren’t looking…that’s when it finds you.

So many times, I get annoyed with female leads in books because I feel like they are the ones likely to make negative decisions – but not with this book, this character is smart, driven, and has common sense.  This author has also fantastically found the line between giving enough information about the characters’ pasts to let the reader know what is going on…without giving so much information that the reader becomes bored and wants to get back to the main story line!

Vera has had a difficult past, including watching her father commit suicide by jumping off the bridge.  Or did he?  Could he still be alive?  Who is sending her the strange texts?  And what’s the truth behind the reason her father committed suicide?  Was her father a murderer?  Or was he framed?
