When I tried the Bella & Bear Eyelash Curler and loved it (review here), I thought I’d check out what other products Bella & Bear have to offer…and I’m glad that I did!  Bella & Bear also has the ‘Hair She Goes’ Hair Removal Kit.  Initially, I didn’t know what to expect, but am always excited to try something new.  The kit includes a facial epilator and tweezers –

I had never tried a facial epilator and it looked a little scary at first.  For those of you who don’t know how to use an epilator, let me give you some information!  (Picture from Bella & Bear!)

1.  You place the spring in the downward position and place against the area where you want to remove the hair.  

2.  Move the handle inwards and outwards in a continuous motion.  It feels like a plucking sensation, but remember you are getting a lot of hairs at one time.

At first, I wasn’t sure about the pain…it feels as if you are using tweezers, but you can grab so much hair at the same time that the pain was initially alarming.  After using it a few times, it has seriously become my new favorite tool for removing facial hair (except the eyebrows…that seems too risky to me!).  A lot of times, I’ll sit watching TV and mindlessly run it over my face to remove hairs.  I’m not going to lie and say that it doesn’t sting, but I wouldn’t say it is any worse than other common ways to remove facial hair (tweezers, waxing).  I guess anytime you pull hair out of your body, it isn’t going to be pleasant!  This quick and easy tool is now my go-to tool for removing facial hair!

They also include some tweezers to remove the tricky hairs that the epillator is having trouble getting!
