Anyone who reads my blog knows exactly what I do with fish oil!  I don’t personally take it (although I know many wonderful people who do…they say it is an amazing product!), but my furbabies take it religiously!

So, why do people use fish oil pills?  I’ve heard benefits ranging from support for healthy cholesterol, support for bone health, mood support, helps with losing body fat, increases metabolism, supports healthy hair and nails, prevents heart disease, reduces blood pressure, and reduces number of strokes in individuals with heart disease (with all these awesome benefits, I’m starting to question why I’m giving it all to the dogs!).

Now, why do I give it my dogs?  I can tell a definite improvement in their coat/skin (especially my beagle who has issues with dry skin!), helps to regulate the immune system, is said to improve cognitive functioning, and can help lower blood pressure.  As I’ve said before, my dogs are my family and it’s important to me to keep them healthy. ❤
